      CHARACTER ASSASSINATION AND CLASSIC CYBERBULLYING: Before this year’s Primary elections, the story of the Sharon Lapp murder was revisited and it raised concerns among many of you. At that time, I assured everyone there was nothing to worry about---and there still isn’t---because before any real harm would ever come to me, attempts would be made to somehow diminish my character. And I was right about those attempts to assassinate my character. Since before the Primary, many attempts were made and most of them could merely be brushed off. However, after the Primary and before the Contestation, there was an increase in assaults on my character. Since the Contestation, those assassination efforts have increased to ridiculous levels.
      These efforts are being coordinated by a group of people, primarily Democratic women who are Henry loyalists. According to this group of women (depending on whose instigating what), I have “mental health issues, am dependent upon psychotropic medications, am fat and sloppy, have a food addiction, am psychotic, am depressed, have a facebook addiction, am self-centered and egotistical, have dark triad personality disorder, am crazy, am a loser, am dysfunctional, am bitter and jaded, am anit-social, am a sore loser,….” etc.
      The women involved in this behavior tend to troll on my facebook page looking for people who disagree with whatever I’ve said. Depending on the level of disagreement, one of two things happen. If the person strongly disagrees with me, one of these women directly “friends” that person and once the friend request is accepted, then a dialogue begins with the woman vomiting falsehoods and inflammatory statements about me. If someone mildly disagrees with me, then one of these women will “like” the disagreeing comment and wait for the disagreeing person to reach out to them via a friend request. Once a friend request is received, then the woman in question sends a message vomiting falsehoods and inflammatory statements about me and if the other person agrees with those falsehoods and statements, then the friend request is accepted.
      The point of this behavior is to assassinate my character as well as to try to socially isolate me. The methodology of the behavior is classic cyber bullying – that is the use of the internet to spread rumors and stories about a person behind their back. Women are far more likely to utilize cyberbullying and to do so as a group.
      In recent days, I am not the only one whose character is being assassinated by cyberbullying, as evidenced by this cell phone message that I have received from a friend of a friend of a friend of a bully. Gotta love social media. To protect the friend of a friend of a friend, I have covered up pertinent identifying information, but am sharing this to make people aware of how ridiculous these efforts are.
      To the women who are engaged in this character assassination and cyberbullying – First, you are setting yourself up for lawsuits for defamation of character, libel and/or slander, invasion of privacy and/or diminishment of right of publicity. So, if you really want to pay $2,500+ per assassination attempt, please continue. Second, as adult women, don’t you have something better to do with your time? I mean really. If you don’t like what I post on my facebook wall, the solution is really simple…..don’t read it!! Nobody is making you read my wall. Matter of fact, if you can’t stay away from my facebook wall, then I’d say it is you who have “an addiction.” Finally, I feel sorry for you. I truly do. How unhappy you must be with your own lives to have to create drama by spending time trying to destroy my life. You have my condolences and my prayers. Peace be with each of you.

      Gina Burgess Not sure what to say here except...WOW! So much hate, animosity, and contradiction on her part. First, I am a nobody with lots of problems (mental health issues, off my medications, egotistical, manipulative, exploitive, etc.) and then I cause the city to waste money with each of my actions??? However am I capable of that? She contradicts herself in other ways too, such as she is involved with the Democratic Party via their facebook page (which is true) and then later she claims that she isn't involved with the Party but only votes. Then, of course, there's the whole private-public matter -- She has no problems making defamatory, libelous, slanderous and untrue information about me and others....to a person whom she won't accept a friend request from. I'm not sure what reasonable person would expect privacy under those conditions, but then again....I'm not really sure Ms. Kruse is showing herself as a reasonable person.

Also, while Ms. Kruse may be an active member of the Allen County Democratic Party -- it should not be viewed as representative of the Party. Matter of fact, I am not even sure that Party leadership would condone this sort of behavior.

I explained to him in a private message why I did not want to be... Now he wants to make my opinion public as if it's something of GREAT importance. I'm flattered. .. confused as to why my opinion would hold any weight... but flattered. I vote. That's my involvement in local politics.
      He even threatened me and my husband's business for having said opinion of him and the group he hangs with, and I hear he's publicly posting my private message to him on others pages.
      It was a private message to him about why I did not want to be his friend and denied his request. I did not expect it to become a reason for he and other members of his group to become negative and irrational and gain attention and recognition... I do not like him or his "Crowd" for that reason.       Now he and his group are all up in arms because I spoke my mind and trying to involve people who don't even know me or have never met me, or friends I do have who are not involved in my personal opinion in some type of Democratic conspiracy . It would be laughable if it wasn't so sad. If you want to play grade school..... you are proving my point.

Cyberbullying is the use of social networks to repeatedly harm or harass other people in a deliberate manner. The whole point of her rant towards me was to harm my character and reputation. This is textbook defamation of character and classic cyverbullying.

      Gina Burgess Ms. Kruse is not a marketing professional. Her company handles the technical side of setting up telephone service and safety services, such as video surveillance. The name of her companyis a bit misleading under the above circumstances. If she were a marketing professional, then she would have never have shared such slanderous commentary with a complete stranger via social media. She would have known (and honestly even as a mere adult user of social media, she should have known) that such commentary would go viral.

      To me, the most bizarre thing is that I unfriended her 4 years ago and before the unfriending had a very superficial social media-only "friendship." The hate and venom she is spewing towards me four years later is bizarre and unnerving. How can you hate someone that you don't even know for so long who has done nothing to you??? Honestly, I had even forgotten she existed until recent events.

      David Burgess Karen -- I couldn't help but notice that you are friends of Sandy Kruse as well asGina Burgess. Since Ms. Kruse is clearly the instigator here, have you gone onto her page and made that same commentary. Seems to me thatGina Burgess and David Roach are both owed apologies at the least.

      Also, I think Gina Burgess is to be commended for her restraint. If you review this entire thread from start to finish, you'll notice that Gina begins the discussion by giving a real life example of the kind of character attacks she is under. She acknowledges that David Roach is under the same attacks and then she publically works to promote the truth about Mr. Roach to counter those who unfairly attacked him. Gina never reveals who the attacker is. Instead, she hid the identity of both her attacker and the person who shared the information with her--probably to protect the identity of that person. It was that person, Joe Renner, who publically (and dare I say rightfully) outed Ms. Kruse, holding her accountable for her poisonous and inflamatory words.

      If you review all of the above, Gina never attacks the person who is attacking her. Instead, she gracefully focuses her efforts on trying to repair damage done to others (Mr. Roach) and to inform and educate the public on cyber-bullying. Interestingly, when others attack Ms. Kruse in ways that may be inappropriate, it is Gina who rises above reproach and defends her attacker.

      I, too, wish we could all get along, but I also believe it is time for us to hold the right people accountable for their actions. Gina deserves praise for her restraint and support for her actions in this matter. If everyone handled this sort of attack in the manner that Gina Burgess has, then perhaps we could all get along.

      l people. This made me wonder. Just how anonymous are people over the internet, and does their use of it mean that they are free from any repercussions by using communication tools on it. My research led me to many articles about people being arrested for some post. How some post permanently damaged the careers of some people. And to how intimidation by anonymous threats of harm, and belittling are becoming more prevalent. Tonight I gave my opinion on public shaming of children and threatening future beatings. I believe that it is a form of child abuse. A couple people disagreed, however one individual became hostile towards my opinion began name calling and making threats of physical violence. I did my research as I always do and found this persons criminal history, present address, phone number, marital status, as well as photos of his children, and pet. People are not anonymous on the internet. Once I let this person know that I knew everything about him, he quickly shut his pie hole. The lesson here is don't be a cyber bully, and especially don't try that bs with me.

      They contacted me and this all started within a half hour after my private message back to Joe about why I didn't want to be his "friend."
      The maturity Calling it cyber Bullying... They contacted me... It was a private message with my opinion of these two and their "group".
      I have every right to that opinion.. as they do.
      I do think she's a Dark Triad Psycho and He's a Nasty Drunk.

       about those attempts to assassinate my character. Since before the Primary, many attempts were made and most of them could merely be brushed off. However, after the Primary and before the Contestation, there was an increase in assaults on my character. Since the Contestation, those assassination efforts have increased to ridiculous levels.

      These efforts are being coordinated by a group of people, primarily Democratic women who are Henry loyalists. According to this group of women (depending on whose instigating what), I have “mental health issues, am dependent upon psychotropic medications, am fat and sloppy, have a food addiction, am psychotic, am depressed, have a facebook addiction, am self-centered and egotistical, have dark triad personality disorder, am crazy, am a loser, am dysfunctional, am bitter and jaded, am anit-social, am a sore loser,….” etc.

      The women involved in this behavior tend to troll on my facebook page looking for people who disagree with whatever I’ve said. Depending on the level of disagreement, one of two things happen. If the person strongly disagrees with me, one of these women directly “friends” that person and once the friend request is accepted, then a dialogue begins with the woman vomiting falsehoods and inflammatory statements about me. If someone mildly disagrees with me, then one of these women will “like” the disagreeing comment and wait for the disagreeing person to reach out to them via a friend request. Once a friend request is received, then the woman in question sends a message vomiting falsehoods and inflammatory statements about me and if the other person agrees with those falsehoods and statements, then the friend request is accepted.

      The point of this behavior is to assassinate my character as well as to try to socially isolate me. The methodology of the behavior is classic cyber bullying – that is the use of the internet to spread rumors and stories about a person behind their back. Women are far more likely to utilize cyberbullying and to do so as a group.
      In recent days, I am not the only one whose character is being assassinated by cyberbullying, as evidenced by this cell phone message that I have received from a friend of a friend of a friend of a bully. Gotta love social media. To protect the friend of a friend of a friend, I have covered up pertinent identifying information, but am sharing this to make people aware of how ridiculous these efforts are.

      To the women who are engaged in this character assassination and cyberbullying – First, you are setting yourself up for lawsuits for defamation of character, libel and/or slander, invasion of privacy and/or diminishment of right of publicity. So, if you really want to pay $2,500+ per assassination attempt, please continue. Second, as adult women, don’t you have something better to do with your time? I mean really. If you don’t like what I post on my facebook wall, the solution is really simple…..don’t read it!! Nobody is making you read my wall. Matter of fact, if you can’t stay away from my facebook wall, then I’d say it is you who have “an addiction.” Finally, I feel sorry for you. I truly do. How unhappy you must be with your own lives to have to create drama by spending time trying to destroy my life. You have my condolences and my prayers. Peace be with each of you.

Kruse, who was the pretty clear antagonizer in her communication with you, is now somehow a victim or an innocent in the matter?? (Btw, special thanks to those who forwarded these posts to me.         He even threatened me and my husband's business for having said opinion of him and the group he hangs with, and I hear he's publicly posting my private message to him on others pages.
        It was a private message to him about why I did not want to be his friend and denied his request. I did not expect it to become a reason for he and other members of his group to become negative and irrational and gain attention and recognition... I do not like him or his "Crowd" for that reason. It was a message just between me and him and my opinion is simply my opinion. It was not a public post.
        Now he and his group are all up in arms because I spoke my mind and trying to involve people who don't even know me or have never met me, or friends I do have who are not involved in my personal opinion in some type of Democratic conspiracy . It would be laughable if it wasn't so sad. If you want to play grade school..... you are proving my point.
        I don't like you or your crowd. You are unimportant to me. My significance to you confuses me.

As an LPN, I am a bit surprised that you would make such statements because, if true--you are either talking about yourself (which you haven't really disclosed) or are talking about someone else (which is not really ethical to share). While I appreciate your sharing, I have to admit that I can only take your sharing with a grain of salt as you've not provided any evidence of what you are claiming. Many people don't know, don't realize or sometimes just forget that prior to my law experience, I used to work in the psychiatric field under Dr. Ronald Pancner. This is one of the reasons I am familiar with HIPAA and question your disclosures.

        I am aware of the availability of the 72 hour emergency psychiatric detention police can utilize as well as the criteria that must be met before such a detention, which--as your correctly shared--has to have a licensed doctor, usually a psychiatrist, sign off on the commitment...as well as a judge. So if there is an illegal commitment going on, it would require the coordination and collusion of a dirty cop, an unethical doctor, and a corrupt judge. Now, I'm not saying that it can't happen nor that it has never happened, but rather that if it happened--especially to someone like me---then it would be highly suspect. Before a commitment can begin--the person has to be deemed as a danger to themselves pursuant to the criteria set forth in Indiana Code 12-7-2-96.

        Take for example- groups like LEADERSHIP FORT WAYNE- and CITIZENS POLICEACADEMY; and others- instead of these groups being open and available to anyone who is interested; there is 1- about a THOUSAND DOLLAR FEE for the FTW leadership group- whohas that kind of cash to blow? except those who benefit from a SHADOW GOVERNMENT; AND- the citizens police academy- just maybe excludiong certain fewlons; or not- would be sufficient- I think just being interested active and keeping up with whats up in town should be enough.
        As for HIPA; and other items- well- handling classified information; whether its the NSA; NASA; cops; lawyers; journalists; and so on- well- COMPARTMENTALIZATION- often can sweep up innocent individuals in an over zealous dragnet; and often the "chain of custody" of information can also be manipulated as well- by evil people.
        OH- THERE ARE PLENTY OF EVIL PEOPLE in FTW- when people are desparate; and success is conferred not earned- its not what you know but who you know; unless what you know about whom can prove useful- plenty of THAT IN FTW extortion/blackmail; etc- well- you have systemic breakdowns in society; with the resulting discord.. .

      They contacted me and this all started within a half hour after my private message back to Joe about why I didn't want to be his "friend."
      The maturity Calling it cyber Bullying... They contacted me... It was a private message with my opinion of these two and their "group".
      I have every right to that opinion.. as they do.
      I do think she's a Dark Triad Psycho and He's a Nasty Drunk.
      I couldn't care less what they think of me.
      However they have no right to attack my Husband's business or to post pictures of my grandkids in blogs.
      My question being why does Burgess care at all that I think she's a Dark Triad Psycho or why does Roach care I think he's a Nasty Drunk?
      It's my opinion to have.
      They've just spent 6 days ranting and raving about what I think... I mean really? Are they that ill? From what I hear, they started attacking others who are disagreeing with what they are doing.
      I'm not involved in politics downtown other than voting. They both have never met me.
      Am I and is my opinion really that important to these two?
      I don't think so.
      I think this is just another choreographed sad and sick plea for attention.

      • Brian Thornton Gina Burgess - bullying is when it's directed at you.. It wasn't was it? I can't tell but it appears to be sent to someone else which would be gossip not bullying. Can you turn it into something nicer like it's better for them to have some opinion of you and know what you stand for than to have no opinion?       • Gina Burgess Brian Thornton -- Ms. Kruse alludes to me having addiction problems (i.e. food, facebook, etc.). She alludes to me having mental health issues, having a need to first be on psychotropic medications and then making a claim that I am off those needed medications. The whole point of her rant towards me was to harm my character and reputation. This is textbook defamation of character and classic cyverbullying.

        • Gina BurgessMs. Kruse is not a marketing professional. Her company handles the technical side of setting up telephone service and safety services, such as video surveillance. The name of her companyis a bit misleading under the above circumstances. If she were a marketing professional, then she would have never have shared such slanderous commentary with a complete stranger via social media. She would have known (and honestly even as a mere adult user of social media, she should have known) that such commentary would go viral.

          To me, the most bizarre thing is that I unfriended her 4 years ago and before the unfriending had a very superficial social media-only "friendship." The hate and venom she is spewing towards me four years later is bizarre and unnerving. How can you hate someone that you don't even know for so long who has done nothing to you??? Honestly, I had even forgotten she existed until recent events.

      Anonymity and the issue of cyber bullying. Recently a colleague of mine was a victim of internet bullying. A women who I will not name in this post, sent me a message after I sent her a friend request. She proceeded to warn me/accuse me of being part of or so she had heard...of sort of group of the mentally insane people that allegedly are costing the city money with their opinions, allegations, and or out right damning facts.(Not her words) She slandered, and insulted several people. This made me wonder. Just how anonymous are people over the internet, and does their use of it mean that they are free from any repercussions by using communication tools on it. My research led me to many articles about people being arrested for some post. How some post permanently damaged the careers of some people. And to how intimidation by anonymous threats of harm, and belittling are becoming more prevalent. Tonight I gave my opinion on public shaming of children and threatening future beatings. I believe that it is a form of child abuse. A couple people disagreed, however one individual became hostile towards my opinion began name calling and making threats of physical violence. I did my research as I always do and found this persons criminal history, present address, phone number, marital status, as well as photos of his children, and pet. People are not anonymous on the internet. Once I let this person know that I knew everything about him, he quickly shut his pie hole. The lesson here is don't be a cyber bully, and especially don't try that bs with me.

      • Robert Angel though you have to watch out for sock puppet accounts and also spoof accounts with false names claiming to be people they are not. there is some anonymity still online for those that actually know how to navigate the cyber maze. i have had to deal with this myself with a troll (one form of cyber bully) pretending to be me. it happens a lot. not all are who they claim to be

Then I get a major migraine when people wonder, "however could society be so violent? I mean, we repeatedly committed mild violence against them well into their adolescence. How could they not know better?"

        Then I officially blow a gasket when they say, "The reason crimes so bad is because you can't hit your kids as hard as you could before. News flash: over 80 percent of prisoners were spanked or abused and violent crime has been on a fairly steady decline since the early 90's.

      • Vinnie Garbone Exactly. I was repeatedly hit as a child. Once I was too big to be hit by my mom, guess who started getting hit at school? Any one I thought I could get away with doing so. It wasn't until extensive herbal wink emoticon and scientific research along with a healthy dose of philosophy from Stephan Moloneux that I could really explore not only the errors of my ways but the potential root causes and how to identify triggers and ways to break the patterns once they've been indoctrinated.

            NEXT- I GOOGLE their names with other pertinent information.
            again- if i think they dont chedk out- DELETED..
            sometimes its a what the heck call; other times; i send them a message with the google name serch and tell them who is this? you dont check out; and leav e it for them to answer.
            be sure to check for LURKERS; ETC- whos FOLLOWING YOU- if you dont know them; delete them.
            you oly have 5K of names/friends; so be tight -assed witrh who you frined; build your audience; etc network with..
            oh- if theres nothing else except self made social media info- and littel else- well- delete..
            be sure to type in their phone number- (xxx) yyy-ZZZZ. again it should check out if they are legit.
            AND last- Mycase.in.gov- ( google it)- you can find out a persons felony/ criminal record for INDIANA ONLY
            for a nationwide search; i havent found one yet..
            that pertty well keeps the "undesirables" off your "friends list"
            Im als pretty judicious about if theyare from aroudn here or not. again- its easy to make fake profiles- most common is big boob bimbos- who check s those? men? so
            there you go-social media security/background checking 101..
            when in doubt- leave them out- delete..
