Only one other candidate filed election paperwork on Wednesday. Democrat David Lynch will face off against Mayor Tom Henry, as well as fellow Democrats Tom Cook and John Roberson, in the Democratic mayoral primary on May 5.

I'm running for Mayor to halt the  lying; corruption; and kleptocracy this mayors administration has become.
the downtown real estate speculation schemes; the  failed police department; the corrupted city government.
 I have been a resident and citizen since 1967; im a navy Veteran; and I have 2 College Degrees and im working towards a 3rd.
Im semi retired; and have already rid the city of police and political corruption   -where did all the cherry-masters go? ??

    Hi Dave. too bad your names not "Bong"- we could be pals- Roach and Bong.. lol. but .. we have similar writing interests and skills; and i see you are the new "hired gun"; Political Hatchet man " brought in from somewhere obscure- with no knowledge of fort wayne, local politics, whos who, whos scratching whoms backs, the crooked rackets, and so on- like a proverbial "babe in the woods"; or as Mark Twain might call it "Innocents Abroad"( a book by Twain. im a big fan of twain, hunter s thompson, and other political humorists..; observers of the human absurdities of life on this planet.

    Im certain our paths will cross in the future; and dont believe the Bs; slander; Libel; rumors; etc about me- want to know the truth? just ask. as for the JG editorial staff; inskeep; klugman- they have an axe to grind with me- they have never had anyting nice to say about me,so you kn0w- theres a media /editor war between them and me.( I have a blog- several- to tyr to level the playing field>

    I likely hold the local record for most times to run as a politician- sort of like the cubs winning the Pennant? I have deep Chicago Roots; and Ilinois family background, so we have some things in common. Id like to be a friend- on Fb; and a freidnly reliable anonymous source about LOCAL HISTORY; POLITICS; GOVT; AND BACKGROUND MATERIALS- I DO KNOW ALL THAT VERY WELL. anyway- one last thing- the on-line version; and the print version of your article about our "new Sheriff"- differ considerably.NOTE- theres no mention by Gladieux of gun Permits; processing, and so on; nor any mention of the troublind issues and incidents at the allen county Jail- law suits over overcrowding; jail guards savagely assaulted because the county concil wont approve 2 man jail guard patrols like they use d to: - the onlydeputy to be killed in the line of duty in the past 10? 15 years- was kiled by a gun that was given to the shooter by the former allen count y chief probation ovvicer- Ken Watson.- Erick Heck died by neglect; and Watson never went to prison.     the past 2 times out- ive received nearly 25,000votes; 25%- in 2010; and this year- 21,000 votes - 30 % for SHERIFF- AS A DEMOCRAT( sort of like the REPUBLICANS IN CHICAGO..)- on a pro-legalization of recreational Marjijuana ; criminal justice reform; smart enforcement platform. anyway- nice to meet you, DAVE( Daves not here? lol..stoner humor)- Welcome to Fort Wayne- ive lived here in fort wayne since before you were born; TIMES 2. im 54. and Happy holidays( because these folks who go around saying merry christmas al of december are assured strange looks until around the 23rd or so)- and since theres so much diversity in fort wayne lately- well- Happy holidays covers about everyone.

    news flash/tip:Tom Cook for Mayor is a Tom Ostrognai put up job. who is Tom Ostrognai you are asking? well-I told you - youre the new kid in town; you only know what they are telling you. so- Your job-find out who tom Ostrognai is ( his sons wife is LUZ Ostrognai- local catholic charities immigration helper; and Ty ostrognai-toms son- is a freshly minted lawyer/ law schol grad. anyway: I know Ostrognai for 20+ years; and i Know his put up job campaign buzz words- "common man campaign"- which means some barely literate; barely above HS grad running for Mayr or such.. another favorite of Ostrognai is " killing off Neighborhood code- who put Ostrognai out of the landlord business years back: and Mc Millen Park-because Ostrognai use dto live on east rudisill right next door to the park.

    Tom Ostrognai lives off old 24; just NE of New Haven; about a mile NE of the 24/469 interchange; and is a rabid "gun- nut- yes- one of those. hes also a VietNam veteran- the war sort of twisted his head- but hes also very funny sense of humor . anyway- Ostrognais Tom cook activities could have election board repercussions- as an in-kind contributor; and also if Tom cook is receiving anything of value- cash; taxi service; etc- by Ostroganai which isnt duly reported; even bribery- paid off to run for mayor.. ( the past 3 times..)- so- GONZO; MR GONG SHOW.. THERES A STORY FOR YOU TO CHECK OUT. just trying to help the democrats thin the herd; clear the landing deck. oh- on a related story:

    mR John forrest roberson- is a convicted class D felon- domestic battery- which means no gun rights for him; and was fired from the FWPD- for 28 discilpinary actions; AND if your a felon you cant pack a gun and you cant be a cop.. Lastly- the indiana mcase court system database indicates MR ROBERSON- s class d felony was reduced post sentence to a class a misdemeanor; but hasnt been expunged, etc- so he still was convicted of a felony- which in federal election laws doesnt matter- but in indiana state and local elections that is a bar to running and removal from the ballot. which both laws are stupid- because whos going to elect a convicted crook to office? better the crook you know thanthe crook youdont? and most politicians dont commit their felonies until AFTER they are elected if you think about it..? right?
